Photograph was taken on a crisp autumn day at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The way the light angled and illuminated across the leaf, along with the distribution of the water droplets... the whole composition just came together. During the post-processing process, I really wanted to bring out the autumn vibes with the golden orange of the leaf, while also maintaining relative colour balance. The result is an image where the subject is prominent but has a subtle blending with the background.
