Barking up the wrong tree

Photograph taken at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. While walking around the texture and look of this tree really captured my attention. Once I got closer, I saw just how intricate the details in the bark were. One thing led to another, and my photographic instincts just led me to this composition.
